What are course reserves?
Course reserves are library resources that are in high demand because they are used for class assignments. Your instructors ask the library to reserve items that many students will need to access in a short time.
How do I find course reserves?

You can search by course. Use course number (ex: CHIS 400C) or course name (ex: Christian Heritage)
Or, you can search by instructor (ex: Austring).
Take note of the 'Call Number' given in the library catalog, so you can help the library staff find it on the reserve shelf.
Where are course reserves?
The library keeps course reserves at the Circulation Desk (on the first floor of the library, near the entrance).Your professor may also place digital course reserves in Canvas. NOTE: Not all textbooks will be on course reserve! Be sure to search for them in the C ourse Reserves List .
What can I do with course reserves?
You can check out most course reserve items for 2 hours at a time.
You can use course reserve items in the library, but they cannot be taken out of the library.
You can scan pages and save them to a USB drive for free.*

You can copy pages for 10 cents per page.*
