InterLibrary Loan Basics

If we do not have it, you can request an item through InterLibrary Loan!

How it works:

  1. Fill out the form below
  2. We request the book or article from other libraries
  3. Another library sends us the book via mail or article via email and we notify you
  4. If it is a book, you return the book to us before the due date, and we return it to the lending library

Please note:

  • This service is for research only. We cannot request textbooks through interlibrary loan.
  • Book requests can take up to 2 weeks, and articles can take up to 48 hours. So plan ahead.
  • Usually there is no charge. If the item is only available with a charge, we will ask if you are willing to pay before we make the request.
  • The due dates are set by the lending library! We cannot guarantee that the book can be renewed.
