Linking: ProQuest

Guide on how to access full-text articles from off campus with a permanent link.

Finding the link in an email

If you emailed yourself an article (or articles), you can find the document link underneath the title of the article, labeled "ProQuest document link":

The link should already contain the library proxy prefix (https://vanguard.idm.oclc.org/login?url=).

Finding the link in the article record

You can also find the document link in the article record. From the search results page, click the article title and view the record. At the top-right of the page you will notice a round button with a link icon, labeled "Copy URL":

Click that link, and the permanent URL (along with the library proxy prefix) will be ready to paste into the document of your choosing.

You can also click the "Abstract/Details" link (green arrow above) and scroll down to view the "Document URL." Select the (rather long) URL and copy and paste it into your document.

The link should already contain the library proxy prefix (https://vanguard.idm.oclc.org/login?url=).
