Nursing: Interlibrary loans

Nursing resources

Placing ILL requests

Can’t find the article or books you need for your project? The library can borrow articles and books from other libraries. If you would like an interlibrary loan, please submit your question online at "Ask a Librarian" (libanswers.vanguard.edu). You must include the following information in order for your request to be processed:

  • Your name
  • Your Vanguard ID number
  • Your contact information
  • Authors
  • Title (Requesting an article? Include article and journal title and page numbers.)**
  • Publisher
  • Year

Interlibrary loans can take three days for articles and two to three weeks for books. In some cases, the lending library may charge a fee, but we would confirm with you if you are willing to pay that fee.

**Due to high demand, the library will not interlibrary loan class textbooks.
