Review on how to search nursing databases using subject headings. Other advanced search techniques are also covered.

Subject headings search

To do a subject headings search in MEDLINE, click on the MeSH link above the search box. The year after MeSH may differ. 

Type in your keyword and click Browse. 

Select the subject heading that you need and click Search Database. 

 

Searching with multiple subject headings

The process of searching with multiple subject headings in MEDLINE is similar to CINAHL. Please refer to the CINAHL - Searching with multiple subject headings box.
