You can search for books directly from the library home page (https://www.vanguard.edu/academics/library). Enter keywords for the topic you would like to research in the VANCAT search box.
In the case below, we entered the keyword marijuana. Note that with that first search 95,300 results were found. These results include ebooks, journal articles, print books, and videos. You can limit your search to electronic formats by clicking the the appropriate checkbox (for Downloadable Article, eBook, eVideo, or eJournal, eMagazine).
Notice that the number of results is significantly lowered for each (the number of items in each format is indicated). Please note: Only items that have a blue button labeled Access Journal, or View PDF, or View Full Text, or View eBook will be available electronically (see the blue View eBook buttons in the screenshot above).

The library also provides access to dozens of online databases covering specific subjects. The main library page contains a link to all library databases as well as links to databases by subject and an A-Z alphabetic list of databases.
