Article Linking: ProQuest

Guide on how to access full-text articles from off campus with a permanent link.

Finding the link in an email

If you emailed yourself an article, you can find the document link underneath the title of the article:

If the link does not take you to the full text, make sure that the first half of the URL has the pre-proxy (https://vanguard.idm.oclc.org/login?url=  attached. For more information, click on the first tab above labeled "Article Links".

Finding the link in the article record

You can also find the document link in the article record:

On the search results page, click on the article title and then select the Abstract/Details tab.

Then scroll down until you see the document URL:

The document URL is a stable link that will direct you back to the article. Do NOT copy and paste the URL in the URL address box. That URL is not stable.

If the document URL does not take you to the full text, make sure that the first half of the URL has the pre-proxy (https://vanguard.idm.oclc.org/login?url=  attached. For more information, click on the first tab above labeled "Article Links".
